What To Expect
To prepare your skin and optimise results:
4 Weeks Before Treatment

Avoid sun exposure, sunbeds, and fake tan.

Begin using broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 daily on the treatment area.
7 Days Before

Discontinue use of:

Retinoids (retinol, tretinoin)

AHAs/BHAs (glycolic, salicylic acids)

Vitamin C or other active exfoliants

Avoid waxing, laser hair removal, or peels on the treatment area.
3 Days Before
Avoid:

Alcohol

Anti-inflammatory medications (ibuprofen, aspirin) unless prescribed

Harsh skincare or exfoliation
On the Day of Treatment

Arrive with clean, product-free skin (no makeup, creams, deodorant, or SPF on the area).

If you are prone to cold sores and treating around the mouth, antiviral prophylaxis may be recommended.

Immediately After

Mild redness, warmth, or swelling may occur - expect this to resolve within 24–72 hours.

Skincare in the First 5–7 Days

Use only gentle, fragrance-free cleansers and hydrating moisturisers.

Avoid all active skincare ingredients (retinoids, acids, scrubs, Vitamin C).

Avoid makeup for 24 hours if possible; mineral makeup is safer if needed.
